Group Tax Manager

The Group Tax Manager is responsible for all aspects of the group's worldwide tax compliance and maximization of the group's tax efficiency.

• Manage worldwide the tax process to maintain compliance with local laws and regulations in all countries of operation.
• Establish clear tax compliance policies and procedures - develop and maintain tha Tax In Control processs.
• Obtain accurate information regarding the worldwide tax position, provide input for tax schedules and reports.
• Review and analysis of local tax reporting, review and prepare tax budgets and forecasts used for management accounting purposes.
• Manage timely, accurate and complete tax compliance for Tax and VAT returns and prepare the draft Corporate Income Tax Return.
• Develop and implement tax planning strategies to maximize the group's tax efficiency.
• Act as a principal point of contact for external tax advisors.
• Liaison with tax authorities to secure tax rulings.
• Advise on ad hoc tax queries.

• Education: Tax expert/lawyer certification.
• Working experience: 5 - 8 years corporate tax experience in an international environment.
• Knowledge of Dutch and international tax law.
• Knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems, experience of SAP in particular desirable.
• Ability to prepare tax returns.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication in Dutch and English, German would be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, team working, challenging nature and leadership ability.
• Pro-active self starter able to work independently and quickly access a situation and provide recommendations.
